Wilodge dominate Limousin classes at East of England Show
Wilodge Diamante was yet again on winning form at this year’s East of England Show under stand-in judge David Cormack who had to step in last minute to replace Hazel Fotheringham whose car unfortunately broke down on route to the show.
Diamante won her class, was junior female champion, overall junior Limousin champion and then breed champion. She then went on to be placed junior interbreed champion under David Barker and teamed up with Dublin Flyer to win the pairs competition.
Dublin flyer also won his class and was then placed male champion as well as junior male champion. He stood reserve for overall junior champion behind Diamante and then stood reserve overall champion behind her again.
Considering June is a fairly early start to the commercial show season, we were exceptionally pleased with how our stock performed here. Ooh Laa Laa won her class and also teamed up with Buck Off to win the pairs, while Buck Off himself won his class, took the overall steer championship and then stood overall reserve commercial champion under judge Harry Emslie. This was particularly pleasing as it was Buck Off’s first outing of the year.
